Our department; It started its education life within the body of Aksaray Vocational School, which is affiliated to the Rectorate of Aksaray University, which was established by Law No. 5467 published in the Official Gazette No. 26111 dated 17 March 2006. Our School has been divided into two separate schools as Vocational School of Social Sciences and Vocational School of Technical Sciences with the decision of Higher Education General Assembly dated 05.04.2012.
Property Protection and Security section; Aksaray Vocational School of Social Sciences continues its education with “Occupational Health and Safety and Private Security and Protection” programs. Occupational health and safety program students who successfully complete the 2-year associate degree program; Graduated as occupational safety technicians, they are employed in the O.S.G.Bs (Joint Health and Safety Unit) authorized by the ministry and in the workplaces that serve in dangerous and very dangerous class that employ workers. Students who graduate from the Private Security and Protection program; They are employed as private security and protection personnel in public and private sectors. There are 1 doctorate lecturer and 6 lecturers in our department. As of 2018, 162 associate degree students are active in the department.
